Airbnb has for long been touted as one of the leading disruptive companies for the digital age. Due to the deep impacts Airbnb is causing, the company is increasingly facing more regulations across the world. In spite of this, there is no shortage in users. The most popular destinations remain London, Berlin, Madrid, Paris and Amsterdam. Business intelligence received puts the rise in overnight stays by 3.4%. A lot of cities such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Ibiza and Barcelona have taken steps to restrict the activities of Airbnb. A lot of these regulations though get revoked or the company finds ways to create value anyhow.
