MANAGING in the

NEW WORLD

Russia is losing a portion of inbound tourists each year, thanks to the tangled and bureaucratic system for visas in play at present. To ease this, the country plans to follow a complete e- visa regime. It has already been experimented since 2017 on a limited basis. Nationals of eighteen countries are right now under the gamut of the e- visa stipulations. This includes those from Japan and China. Limitations too exist on this regime as it is now programmed. The country aims to experience a growth of nearly five percent in tourism’s contribution to GDP by the year 2025. Russia also plans on expanding its export of tourism services to be among the top twelve in the world. It finds itself presently at sixteenth as per global tourism consulting body UNWTO.
