Some major trends have been identified as China grapples with its massive challenge in the field of talent recruitment. Local companies for a start are doing better in this battle compared to a lot of international star firms. A lot of people who have transitioned to a new job have joined so, from a traditional large firm. Among recruiters, it is leaders with vast international experience, who are much in demand. The business landscape in China is being shaped by the demands of the rising tech firms. This means the leaders are inevitably younger, and more likely to be based in Beijing, than any of the other major urban agglomerations. The traditional growth path is being modified to suit the present needs. As a result, a number of them are changing their jobs. Across industries, people with qualifications in the STEM fields are dominating. It is local leaders who are thriving in specialized positions.
